Has got to be the most draining thing ever. It’s such a buzzkill, especially when you’re finally feeling decent and shiet. Sounds hella selfish, but Id much rather choose my temporary happiness over your temporary sadness, but that’s easier said than done.

I’ve noticed that I’ve slowly become more insensitive and antisocial which is definitely an issue that I need to work on.

Earlier today, had a friend tell me about their uncle’s death, and I just stood there not knowing how and what to say… do I distract them or do I sit in silence and grieve with them? I was legit conflicted whether to ask if our plans are still on for tomorrow or forget that shit completely.

Yeah its awkward asf

Nah, gender doesn’t matter to me. Not sure what triggers it, but I find myself being hostile and insensitive towards people that I really care about.
Might be that you don't feel comfortable being open to them, and when they're it feels "illegal."

Probably not, just a random thought that popped in my head.

Js say like “I’m sorry about that.” It’s hard to feel bad for someone not directly related to you in any way and it’s perfectly normal. It’s also okay to not want to hear people’s vents and you’re allowed to express that and they should respect your boundaries.

That’s social suicide

i think it’s hard for some people. not everyone is naturally comforting, and that’s okay. we’re not all wired to know exactly what to say in those moments. but sometimes, just being there, even if you don’t say much, is more meaningful than trying to find the perfect words. presence alone can be a form of support.
