consensus around going on the pill / birth control?

Whats everyones thoughts on starting the pill / birth control / idek what its called. Every doctor I meet is shoving the idea down my throat cause my acne gets bad before my period but ive heard it can make u fat and generally unattractive.

It will wreck your hormones into oblivion i didn't recommend it, even more if you aren't sexually active

no point in it honestly for acne, once you come off it your acne will come back most likely

It has A LOT of downsides don’t use it
