Consuming protein powder the day i work out?

I'm kinda broke rn, so what is the most effective use of protein power? Every day, Every day I work out? I just wanna get more built, I'm kinda fat but I don't wanna cut down super skinny. I've been kinda eating what i want rn and i've neither lost nor gained weight
I stretch every day
Gym 3 times a week with cardio
 
protein powder is literally only to add protein to your diet. If for instance one day you don’t eat very much meat or whole protein sources, you could use protein powder to make sure you get enough protein that day.

I personally use it a lot, it’s not a substitute for meat or eggs or raw milk but it is an extra bit of protein (which is very important for development)
