contacts can cause corneal ulcers and if you do not get to an ophthalmologist right away, your cornea will be scarred permanently and your vision will be screwed for the rest of your life. unfortunately, getting an ophthalmologist appointment urgently is not easy

as someone who lives with pretty bad corneal scarring, it is not worth it
