I am sure a lot of you have seen movies you liked based off of comics or even wanted to get into comics before.
I know it might seem hard to get into but really its just about picking comics that seem cool to you JFL
I decided to make a little reading of some of the best characters/storylines

Batman has an amazing history of comics which spans decades, here is an easy and concise list of some of his best works.
1) Batman the long halloween (Loeb and Sale)- This has been adapted into a movie before so you might have even seen it, its an incredibly rich detective story which details a murder mystery. I think its so good because it contains a huge portion of batman's rogue gallery as well as one of the best stories
2) Batman Dark Victory (Loeb and Sale)- This is the sequel to the long halloween and picks up on the story, I think it could be better than the first installation
3) Batman Knightfall (Lots of writers/artists)- This is from the 90s and details Banes origin. This also showcases lots of villains and also shows Batman being physically and mentally broken by Bane. You can buy the omnibus (a big collection of comics) if you like but I would recommend the TPB (trade paperback)
4) Batman the cult (Starlin/Wrightson/ Wray)- NSFW This is a graphic comic but one that I am really a fan of, it is very trippy and psychedelic and details a villain called Deacon Blackfire who has amassed an army of the homeless in a cult
Some other good picks are as follows, Batman The Dark Knight Returns, Robin (Tim Drake) Compendium, Batman the man who laughs (NSFW) and Arkham Asylum a serious house on serious Earth (NSFW)
