Ive been trying to buy a specific book for over 3 months now. It says its available on the website so I buy it and get the order confirmation, but before it can ship I get an email saying the distributer informed its out of stock and the order is cancelled. Then it goes out of stock for a while until its available again and the cycle repeats.
Is it normal to say its available when its not or is it just coincidentally a very popular book. It doesnt make sense to be this popular when its literally 50$ like who buys that..

I usually buy books second hand online tbh but this one isnt a book people usually have and would sell unfortunately
