Did minoxidil fuck up anyone elses hair?

Hey,I wanted to see if anyone else had the same side effect where minoxidil made my hair on top(where I applied it)very curly and dry because I can't really find a lot of info about this online.I used topical 5% for about 9 month but I noticed my hair getting curlyer where I applied and now it looks all fucked up because the sides are straight and tje top is fucking curly and dry,its a nightmare to deal with it.Ive been off for 3 month but I don't see any noticeable change.Does anyone know of the hair will return to normal?il attach a photo so u can see the contrast between my top of the hair and sides
