Parents have a reason to hit and beat their kids up. When you don't beat your kids from the beginning for their mistake, they will end up troubling others.

Pampering kids turns them into abusive and rude adults. No doubt people were more gentle in past.

Some people associate disciplining with abuse. They don't understand very strict parenting raises highly disciplined adults.
