It's not just good, front to back it's a transcendental masterpiece, when I first listened to it no doubt in mind for me that it was a rare perfect album, each track is so beautifully layered and immersive with its own emotional flavor. Robert Smith is undeniably one of the most talent songwriters in rock and pop history, in his goth albums he always manages to be cryptic, poetic and relatable all at the same time. Personally I gravitate more towards Pornography because it has a very depraved and nihilistic atmosphere I'm more charmed by, but disintegration is by far the cinematic, most consistent and most emotionally complex album Cure album. 10/10

The title track hits harder in the gym than the sludge metal or industrial shit I listen to in the gym generally, that or some emo.
