they dont necessarily cause recession, this is a common misconception in the looksmax community. these areworn for a class 2 malocclusion. they dont generate enough force to move the jaw backwards

if you wore them consistently for 20 years then maybe it could generate enough force but it usually only generates enough to move the teeth themselves back.
