Discussion Do eye contacts help with the immediate correction of lazy eye

I have been born with a lazy eye, I have been wearing glasses all my life and actually noticed that although the effects of a lazy eye are still prevalent it is not visible until i take them off. I wanted to know if eye contacts would give the same result as my eye shape and upper eye lid exposure are quite good only they had to nerf me with a lazy eye and my glasses make me look kinda goofy.

FYI I have read the guide I know glasses and contacts help with correction over a period of time. I am asking about the immediate aesthetic look.
