I don't know why the surgeon is pushing for surgery so hard as X-ray has confirmed my maxilla is above normally grown I think there conecres about lower jaw when I get older in terms of function but my guess is they don't give af about my aesthetic that much tbh

If you think your surgeon is wrong then get a second opinion and just ask how this surgery would affect your appearence long term
