Do keratin treatments really fuck your hair

I wanted one but i keep seeing TikToks of people getting it and their hair ends up fried after a while or they start losing it

never had one but keratin is actually so good for the hair and I think if you take proper care of it there won't be much damage

i had one and my hair was fine it helped with the frizz alot but make sure to get keratin shampoo n conditioner
