Really depends where sis.
On navel, nipples etc it's fine, on the side of the nose, it's fine, earrings also fine. But like septum rings etc can absolutely nuke your appeal, because it's the first thing that people will notice instead of your other features

I got a setpum piercing a long time ago beacuse I realized that it makes my nose look smaller
