do scars affect my rating

I am aware there is people that sh for attention and don't bother covering them up afterwards, I see why most people assume scars are immediately for attention since it only has a 2-4% death rate but people can do it for many reasons. releasing morphine in the brain, being in a state of pyschosis, etc. I usually dont go out anyways but i'd like to without worrying about people thinking I'm crazy at first glance. I wouldn't mind wearing sleeves all the time but they make my figure look strange.

Anyways visible self harm scars give off a very repulsive vibe that scream “this guy’s mental state is fucked and he seems terrible to be around.” Exact opposite of a halo.

I guess what I'm trying to ask is how do I make myself appear better. As I said before it makes my figure look strange with long sleeves, like I'm overweight when in reality I'm underweight. I've tried wearing tighter clothing but it makes my scars itch and they're also raised so you can still see bumps.

What type of scarring do you have? Raised? Flat? Stitching? And are they colored?
Depending on this i can give you tips to either cover them up or lessen their appearance

I have many. I have a few stitched ones but besides that yes to all, some of them are white but still raised and some are flat and white.

You can use bio-oil and a derma roller on the raised scars and on the ones still healing this will lessen the color faster and leave them less raised.

On style if you only have scars on your forearms you can wear mesh gloves like this if this goes with your style

Arm warmers can work too as well as big big stacks of bracelts

If thwy are all over your arms easy thing that can help is a mesh shirt!

There are many different styles colors and fits
You can layer this with a bra tshirt tank top

2-4% is pretty high tbh it’s like jumping over a small hole to an abyss multiple times for fun

Eh, I think most people when they think of SH think of cat scratches. I meant deeper like yellow, "the fatty part" most people who use SH for attention aren't willing to go that deep.
