Discussion Do smile lines indicate a recessed maxilla?

I have been looking at pictures of my side profile and wheneve i have looked in the mirror i have felt like my maxilla is recessed especially due to the presence of smile lines. If so, how could i further grow my maxilla forward?

no, many people with recessed maxilla have no smile lines and many people with forwardly grown maxilla have smile lines. Its facial muscle related, not skeletal.
