I haven’t heard one good argument for deontology except when my dad tried to make Christianity deontological and said you can never commit a sin like lying or killing

I rebutted it by saying many people in the bible have lied for the greater good and killed people so obviously the ends can justify the means

You can’t chose to fly (unless your counting planes but that is easily justified). So you can do anything you want on this earth even if it harms another human?
