do u think love is real

During puberty you fall in love with like everyone you see
That’s not true love that’s just a lot of hormones in your body making you feel that way
After puberty it’s actually true love since your hormones are just normal so it’s your actual feelings
Im not the best at explaining things but I think you get the idea
I guess so?? still ur first teenage love inevitably impacts ur perception of love for timeeeee. and the replication of that feeling when you first fall in love with someone is constantly searched for. like yk how there are those aunties and sometimes grandparents that still vividly remember their first bf/gf?

Yes let me have Oxford dictate an emotion and experience for me rather than coming up with my own opinion. The meaning of strong is subjective and bendable therefore for different people will have different meanings. It's stupid within itself to call anyone's opinion on a matter like this stupid as you're a human who will never know the truth
what 🤣? just ignore the definition of the word we are debating theory

u said the hormones in teens make them incapable of "true love" spoiler: its the opposite

"The meaning of strong is subjective and" even debunked yourself

your opinion? you stated illogical reasons

my point is ur so sure you're right you're shutting yourself out to anything I have to say. Chances are I'm not right and neither are you

Your first love is at like 8 when you’re not even in puberty yet
Yes that’s pure and maybe true love but when do you ever see married couples that met in grade 1

why am i not right?

the answer to the question is either yes or no

Humans tend to overestimate our intelligence, you cant say youre right and call people dumb over what is essentially a theory. I don't believe Oxford or anyone else should be able to define and experience that non of us can truly define/ agree upon. I'm not gonna sit here and say I'm definitively right but people DO throw around the word love too much, Asian culture is a good example of putting the right amount of value towards love in my eyes

yes but u cannot compare 8 year old liking someone cuz they gave u play dough vs a 17/18 year old in a long term relationship, many share their first times and other key milestones like uni and graduation. That's obviously what I meant by the true love not little Timmy who chased u down the park dude

your not even responding to my arguments or defending your own

At 18 it’s not true love
Most people are still in puberty at the age of 17/18 and at that age you probably been in other relationships so you know your partner might cheat on you or wtv it’s not pure

I just don't think you have the mentally compacity or openness to understand my point here I'm gonna say one last thing and that's that. Love is when you place someone essentially over anyone and everyone else, you'd do things for them you'd never do for anyone else. Our first experiences with love are for most people parents/family(not ur cousins ur siblings and grandparents) so I find that to be a reasonable baseline for my standards of love. Most people don't share that point of view and I understand why

Yes but that doesn’t mean it’s TRUE love
Like yes at that age many people might love someone and actually get to marry them but 90% of the time it’s still fake love

well thats just simply wrong

Alot of teenagers place their parter over anyone else if it was only emotionally anyway

how is it fake love?? if its the first time they experience it without the past of other relationships interfering or knowing how to navigate it, its the definition of true because its the shot that they are most likely to be their truest self and from. for example, someone who was cheated on in a relationship will most likely enter a new one with fears and suspicions. that cant happen with first teenage love.
