not a troll I think maybe you think like this because of the things you see people say on social media its changed a lot of peoples perspectives on relationships, you see things online that may make you believe that the way people feel things change, like a TikTok maybe on someone cheating and think thats just the way the new generation loves but its not true.
People cheated in the past and they are toxic in the past but it was never plastered over social media because it just didnt exist. Loves most definitely still real and its the same

i maybe sound dumb but i didnt think about how love was in past your right they also had toxic relationships etc you explained very well there is love

some people get into relationships in high school
and stay together
by the time they're in their mid 20s
they would be irremovable parts of each other's identities
