i was so insecure at a time i didn’t let her do anything or socialize she listened but 2 years in she got tired of me being so insecure and told me to fix it so i did but then came more and more problems

It means the idea of love today is so perverted we have to declare it true love instead of simply just being love. Might not seem like much untill you realise how comodified the term love has become. Be honest with yourself, if you've ever been in a relationship, have you ever said "I love you" and if so, how man days, weeks, months in was it? Do you genuinely believe you can be in love with someone you've known for a few weeks?

What I'm trying to say is the modern person says the word love, not because they know it, but because they feel as if they have to say it. As if saying it rids them of the burden of having to prove it.

Yes I love love and I will not stop until I get it I just need to meet someone who’s as crazy and committed as I am

yeah I still firmly believe love is a choice that you make everyday to stay with that person because it’s not about passion but that quiet security instead. When you know everything about the person, including the bad but still love them anyways. It’s not love unless they’re truly at the same level of importance to you that you are to yourself. And because of that definition it’s impossible to love someone you barely know
