Actually barley know it im just too lazy to switch my keyboard language I'm like pretty fluent when speaking just not at writing
Nice, how did you learn it? I'm lowkey jealous of you because it means you probably can watch anything without subtitles.

For some reason I didn't associate the violence with Chile, simply because I never hear stories coming from there. It's usually countries like Mexico (literally 9 out of 10 cities with the highest murder rates are in Mexico, it's brutal) or Brazil or Colombia where I thought things were bad, and that countries like Argentine and Chile were safe.
its way safer compared to those countries, but drug gangs and stuff have been coming here too, so the country has turned more and more dangerous in the latest years :( but yes colombia is super dangerous, my dad traveled there for work and he had to be with bodyguards everytime he went out

I basically taught myself I learned like more "anime like" speech first cuz I would try to memorize what each word meant while watching anime then I learned it conversationally by talking to japanese speakers online

Man, I really take for granted just how safe it is in The Netherlands. I can just go out for a walk even at 3 AM and nothing's gonna happen. Yet if I were in any of those countries I'd probably get CHAINSAW'd or some shit.

That's nice! How long did it take you in total?

Brutal. I think the guys with cartel connections are the most untouchable, not even law enforcement could do anything. It's not a good place to live, I think. It's probably safer in war-torn countries than it is over there.

Do innocent civilians get caught up in the violence too or is it just those who are involved in the shady businesses?

innocent civilians too, i mean, you have to keep some ground rules on safety like not go out at night / into shady areas, but if u already live in a shady area there's just a high chance u get hurt or robbed
