to what extent do you think its morally appropriate for someone to disobey the civil laws of their state to protect their religious grounds? especially in a country like america where freedom of religion is a strong doctrine held by the constitution

not everything is about you 😭
i'm talking about do you think it should be legally dismissed if someone disobeys laws for their religion
like killing animals for offerings or something
no they should still get the same punishment

I dont have a religion so I think law should not be disobeyed

none because both are shit
civil laws are usually retarded especially when you have leftist totalitarian gov or some islamist dictatorship
and moral laws are retarded too because firstly there's 3 moral systems (deontology, virtue ethics and utilitarianism) but for violating them you wont be punished. deontology and utilitarianism are retarded, and virtue ethics can only work in some good aristocratic society but we are not there

ofc a femboy would say this

as an individual, theres very few times you should ever actually disobey civil law due to religious beliefs though, if you truly know your own religion.

all I will say this, a lot of people seem to forget the Bible literally says to follow the laws of the land

i need to add that if a state has good civil laws then they include virtue ethics too so they are related, so you need to obey to both
