I always define looksmaxxers as a person who's within the community. Just because someone was educated on appearances/body function/fashion/etc doesn't by default mean they're into looksmaxxing, but it is a good indicator.

Normies actually know a lot more about beauty/fashion then people give them credit for. It's just their stances on it are different then ours and most of the time they don't struggle for romantic affection and so it doesn't matter in their lives.

I'm mainly friends with women, and their 'appearance' things have been generic woman stuff or eating disorder stuff, lol. So I might be biased in that regard. But all of my male friends know about the gym for example, but they don't care or don't have the time. They know better but aren't motivated to do differently.

I don't know if I knew anyone who was into looksmaxxing prior to me talking about it. It's possible.

That is true, I did make quite a bold assumption there, he could’ve just been interested in biology not necessarily looksmaxxing.
