Does anyone actually have any real hobbies?

I'm totally void of hobbies. What hobbies do people on here have, and how do they gratify you?
I like to write and draw but unfortunately I am terrible at both

I like the type of stuff that matches my current mental state and aspirations, so it really varies. Everything from classical / opera to party music and rap.
Can share you 5 different albums depending on your mood

Been interested in trying crochet, what appeal does it have for you?
the whole planning a project and making it come out to life gives a rewarding feeling when it comes out nice

its also a good way to pass time away from screens testing your concentration and patience

also cute little gifts to people you like

Writing sounds enticing. What type of writing do you indulge in?

Well sci-fi im inspired by the twilight zone

Piano, gaming and gym. Playing a musical instrument is legit top 3 most relaxing things u can do imo and it's insane stress relief
Interesting, perhaps I'll give piano a chance.

guitar, gym, learning french, gaming sometimes

i’m learning to day trade on a demo account too but i only bother doing that a couple times a week

yeah, drawing, football, fighting, rating ass of girls I see on street, the rest I dont necessarily consider as a hobby

Hobbies are those with money.

Jokes aside, I'm not really sure. I have a lot of interest in things, but do I rarely do them consistently enough. Not due to a lack of interest in them really, but because of money concerns.

I've recently started learning how to make my own clothes (previously I only ever knew how to repair clothes), so it's been a learning curve. I was given a sewing machine, thread, general sewing kits, fabric, scissors, clothes patterns, and so on. All free. So because I got it all for free (I didn't have to personally fund it), it's something I've been able to learn about recently.

It's... fine. It's not creatively fulfilling for me personally, but it's a valuable asset to have, I suppose. I haven't really made anything per se, just moreso learning how to do things with the machine. I've only ever done stuff by hand. And repairing is a lot different then making things from scratch.

I could talk more about it, but it's not super interesting.

I've tried to get into drawing; it's cheap enough. A pencil and some paper. I just don't enjoy it. I'm not really a creative person in general, I think.

And whem I'm not vibing to music, I like to mix in a bit of gaming for different kind of thrill. Lately, I've been enjoying cs2 case opening - it's a fun way to experience that same mix of excitement and anticipation, just like discovering a new favourite album.
That sounds like a very diverse list! It's especially interesting that you've chosen albums based on your mood—that's probably the best way to discover music. Of those listed, I'm familiar with Unknown Pleasures—it has a truly iconic atmosphere and fits perfectly into any playlist. Sunbather also stands out, with its intense energy and emotion. I haven't listened to the others yet, but I'll add them to my queue; I'm curious to try them out.

Which of yours is the most "universal," the one you can play no matter what?
