Discussion Does anyone know how to get rid of coldsores fast and or keep them gone?

These things have been the bane of my existence for as long as i can remember, i have tried everything in the book to keep them out of my life. I’ve tooken medicine (Lyscine), i’ve applied those lip treatment/cure things, i’ve even went to the doctor and they barley do shit for me. I use to get them hella frequently, but recently they have stopped coming so often but they still show up from time to time and i look stupid asf everytime i get one. Also, it’s not just a me thing my mom had them when she gave birth to me and i was fucked from the very first day, so like my entire family gets them but we try to keep them out of the house. On top of that my little brother gets them the most frequently and it seems like he doesn’t care about getting them and in return just infects the entire house so idk what to do.

Any thoughts/Ideas??

i wear patches to 1.) hide them and 2.) so they’re a lot less hurtful and they heal faster, should i wear the patches when i go to sleep since im applying the cream all day?

coldsores obviously, there’s patches for coldsores too. they keep them hidden and supposedly make them go away faster

i take lysine twice a day for almost a year now and i still get them.

i’m starting to think it’s just a stress thing, and i don’t ever kiss anyone beside my gf and she doesn’t get them so it can’t be her

Never heard of that are they aciclovir based ?

tbh i have no clue

but these were the ones i used in the beginning and they never worked, hardly stayed on and did jack shit but they were cheap maybe like 10 dollars at most
and these are the ones i’ve recently been using, i would say they are much better they stay on a lot better and i would say heal it faster in a way. but it says this one contains hyrdocolliod or how ever the hell you spell it. but these are like 20 dollars
