Does anyone know what it looks like when in jaw surgery, the jaws are brought too far forward?

I keep seeing people say omg jaw surgery can botch you and you will look like a chimp after. Idk i also heard that a popular looksmaxxer got completely botched from jaw surgery. Does anyone know who I’m talking about? How can this be avoided? I have a very concave smile, my mouth looks too far back in my face.
