Also i suspect a total nuke of the intestines microbiota, who can also explain mental health decline, since it is connected. Do you have issues to..yk... toilet correctly ?

damn… just read the abstract, 195% higher risk of developing major depression😭

Stop harming your body by taking unnatural substances
Harming your body with glp 1s

i have no issues w the toilet tbh, but the intestinal microbiota definitely gets fucked.
the most i feel/get is nausea, sulfur burps, painful belly aches when i eat ‘too much’
legit got a horrible bellyache yesterday bc i ate two bites of a sandwich lol

it seems like it has been a cause for concern although not listed as one of the main side effects. it can be a combination of factors but if you're feeling depressed lately stop taking it for a while, you're at a good weight and if u want to lose u can do it without it!

this is actually a really good question let me see if i can find anything because im very interested

less appetite = less candy and ice cream = sadness
i would say this is right but glp-1 targets the hypothalamus which controls hunger and satiety but also mood regulation
effects the hippocampus too, has glp-1 receptors but it also deals w emotional regulation
also, amygdala, reward pathways, etc.
honestly i should’ve done more research on this rather than the physical side effects.

Idk how is it called in english, gut microbiome also i think

But anyways it's complicated because glp-1 can improves the growth of some good bacterias BUT will nuke the hormonal production. Because yes intestines will produce multiple hormones who will be delivered into the bloodstream, and it's connected to the brain. Lack of these hormones = depression risks
