Does anyone wear glasses? I’m going to an optometrist tomorrow.

I have pretty lackluster vision from a distance, so I’m most definitely going to get prescribed glasses. Do I get to choose what they look like? If so, what color, shape, etc would look best?

My friend wears glasses and sometiems I’d wear them for fun, and people said they looked pretty good and some even said I looked like Clark Kent. I believe they were rectangular and black? I’m not too sure.

I’d really appreciate some advice, thank you in advance

I have! a tip I would give you is to choose the shape you look most comfortable in.
try glasses with different shapes and colours so you can choose the right glasses.
I have black hair so the ones I have are black too, you just have to find the ones that fit you best.

Yeah I do. It’d be better if I actually had a photo for reference because the glasses vary on the person. If you look like Clark Kent you should get glasses similar to the ones he wears.

well, I've tried glasses of shapes that wouldn't look good on my face. I was referring to the ones that fit you best and optimize your facial features, not that there are glasses that make you uncomfortable
