nope non denominational
Same, in our religion we kinda assume god is an all knowing deity who understands human issues like body dismorphia and why we would want to look good. So basically don’t have a human idea of what god is bc in reality it is really beyond our comprehension

I feel like I'm insulting His creation by wanting to change.
Firstly ask yourself that, Is it your fault that your parents didn't care about the small things that would made anyone looks good?
Mouthbreathing? Goyslop consuming? Chemicals on your body?
If these didn't happen to you ( prolly happened ) Then its not your fault and you can fix what others did.
If it because some bad habits You used to do , Then this means you're trying to fix a something that you messed up with.

But ,If your goal is just to better than how good you are , If you aren't ugly and you are healthy .
Then this is just bs and literally insulting gods creation ,cuz god made all the humans beautiful, But our bad habits overtime are destroying this and making the human uglier and weaker

so here's what i think...fixing bad habits and wanting to be a better person is okay but don't try to pursue vanity to the point where you're worshipping it or holding it above God, because our earthly bodies die and rot anyways

yes it’s not sinful btw, unless you do dangerous stuff just for vanity, then it can become sinful

Ok that’s real. Obviously wanting to look better and having it be a big priority is okay but having a false idol is obviously a sin.
