Serious does palate expander (mse/marpe) make your face appear more masculine?

is there even a point in going for expansion if it could possibly ruin my face i have a slight overbite but im cutemaxxing so its chill ig
on the other hand my narrow (+asymmetrical) palate is causing me health problems im just scared im gonna end up looking like an ogre
