If your palates are fused it’s over you can’t use palate expander

Yes, I have had one, it works. Which expander you get will depend on if your midpalatal sutures are fused or not, also depends on age.

16, that means they are probably fused. Mine were too, you can still achieve results with MARPE. This will depend on what your ortho says you need though. Because the MARPE is miniscrew assisted, it can still have effect.

Dependes on how fused sutures are at 16 sutures are probably or nearly fused os marpe or sharpe would weild better results if pallate are narrow

To get a wide face and i also has some problem with nose breathing so it will help breath better also
