Like hair color for example, im blonde and a bunch of guys say they want blondes cause if the American stereotype but I feel like natural blondes like me tend to be uglier than brunettes cause like for example, my eyebrows and lashes are like nonexistent without makeup and yet (some) men say they want blondes, is preference really that important in the face of genuine attractiveness?

too broad of a question, there r just too many other factors to consider

it depends how far apart they are in looks as well as where they both stand in relation to each other. for example with a lltn vs a lmtn there’s a pretty obvious winner but the higher you climb on the looks scale the more and more one’s personal preferences matter. this explains why people can’t agree on who true adam or true eve is. when we’re comparing two people who both have little to no flaws of course personal preferences are a major factor. it’s comparing apples to apples but the further down the looks scale the more and more small but objective differences matter

adding on to that if looks were 100% objective there would be no disagreement about who mogs who which is most definitely not the case. tbf the psl system has many flaws and issues to begin with that end in different ratings for the same person.
