Despite having low amounts of micronutrients, health wise raw honey is an ideal carb alternative to sugar because it doesn't spike insulin, alongside having proven antimicrobial, antibiotic, anticancer and antimicrobial properties.or are people just talking about it because it is raw?
We have a lot of raw honey at home because we know a guy that has bees. The reason I was wondering is because I have cut all things with added sugar including honey, and i was wondering if it is worth eating raw honey or if I should keep my diet like it isDespite having low amounts of micronutrients, health wise raw honey is an ideal carb alternative to sugar because it doesn't spike insulin, alongside having proven antimicrobial, antibiotic, anticancer and antimicrobial properties.
Still a better sugar alternative than refined white/cane sugar and stuff like aspartame, if you have the budget.
Because supermarket honey is sterilized at high temperatures (so it's nuking the principle of its low absorption benefit) alongside being massively diluted with glucose-fructose syrup (from gmo corn) for profit
If you want to try real raw honey you need to buy it from a local beekeeper
Personally i do like raw honey in my coffee in the morning, in a yogurt, in my water bottle if i train, or in raw milk to add sweetness
no but its better than processed honey duhor are people just talking about it because it is raw?
Fruits & raw honey are the best sources of carbs, not the same sugar than the refined industrial sugar added in slopWe have a lot of raw honey at home because we know a guy that has bees. Yeah but it's it better to eat honey or should I still don't eat it even though it's healthier than white sugarFruits & raw honey are the best sources of carbs, not the same sugar than the refined industrial sugar added in slop
It's up to you and your needs. Wouldn't say to eat large amounts with a spoon, but add it to your yogurt or coffee for example, so the diet don't look too miserableYeah but it's it better to eat honey or should I still don't eat it even though it's healthier than white sugar
