Does therapy actually work curious ?

believing the therapist cares abt you is like believing the stripper likes you

from my experience it’s mostly that way with school therapists, therapists who work at like a private practice or have a smaller caseload tend to give more of a fuck

school therapists don’t gaf about actual problems and they’ll report it to ur parents behind ur back, they always have so much things to say about their students they “love so much”, + they tell ur business to other students

non-school therapists actuallt made an effort to help me personally, probably because their clients don’t interact with each other meaning they won’t snitch

i've seen a psychiatrist and a therapist. personally i preferred the therapist because psychiatrists are just reading you the entire time which makes you super nervous. therapy's kinda mid, you just have to relive every shitting thing that's happend to you. other than that sometimes it feels better to talk about it but doesnt really change anything
