During developing years IGF-1 feedback is merely blunted to a mild to significant degree compared to an adult. During adolescent years GH spikes are more frequent and larger especially at night. Of course this depends on what stage in puberty you’re in and how significant your growth has been in the last weeks or months but usually youngpeople are simply too worried about eating meals before bed especially with carbohydrates due to IGF-1 feedback. Before I knew this I was dumb by saying “I can’t eat I need to sleep in a hour” despite not having my total calorie intake. So don’t stress during these stages, eat as much as you want love❤️
