Dopamine fasting isn’t about “cutting dopamine.” That’s not even possible. It’s about cutting out the endless stream of cheap dopamine hits that fry your brain over time. Like scrolling, porn, junk food, TikTok, YouTube that kind of shit.

Your brain's reward system is overloaded.
You’ve trained it to expect constant
stimulation. So the moment things get quiet or boring, you reach for your phone, snacks, or even a vape. That’s the loop dopamine fasting helps break.

So what actually is dopamine fasting?
It’s simple. You cut out the things that overstimulate you. Not forever, just for a while. You sit in the discomfort. Let your brain chill. Recalibrate.

What to avoid

1.Phone
2.Social media
3.Porn
4.Junk food
5.Gaming
6.Netflix/YouTube
7.Smoking
8.Caffeine (optional)
9.Talking too much (optional)

Basically, anything that gives instant pleasure with no effort.

What to do instead

1.Go for a walk
2.Sit in silence
3.Do journal
4.Meditate
5.Be bored
6.Think

How long should you do it?

There’s no “one way.”
You can try a few hours daily or 1 full day a week. Over time you will get comfortable with the one you picked. Even just a phone free morning is a solid start.

Why bother?

Because your brain is overstimulated as fuck. You can't focus. You're always distracted. Dopamine fasting helps you enjoy simple things again. Like reading. Peace. A walk. Actual human things.

Real benefits

1.More focus
2.Less compulsive behavior
3.Better self control
4.Clarity
5.Feeling human again
