I started adapalene 0.1% and I have pretty bad dryness, like my skin is almost pilling up and falling off in some places like my cheekbones, any idea what this could be?
feel you man, just started adapalene like a week ago and my skin is peeling too. right now I'm trying to reduce how often I take it and have started skipping my morning cleanse to allow extra breathing room for my skin barrier to rebuilt
sandwitch method

It’s pretty normal. Adapalene speeds up cell turnover. You can use the pink skin barrier repair serum from the ordinary or aquaphor if you’re not prone to acne. Or a good moisturizer.

sandwitch method
Reduces effect, just take it eod if u use ed currently, spam spf 50 pa ++++ every 2 hours, use cleanser every night, exfoliate twice a week and moisturize with good product am/pm then u good. I had the same thing with 0.05% tazret, had to do every 5 days but now I can do eod with minimal peeling.
