In Europe, eugenics wasn't just some science experiment in a lab. It was part of how society evolved.Attractive women were more likely to be chosen by powerful men (yes europe wasn't the only place but they were the harshest)Less attractive women often got pushed out socially or quietly. Over time, this meant only certain traits kept getting passed on.
Men were judged too but women faced it harder because they were selected by appearance way more often.
This pressure has existed for hundreds of years. That's why, today, you often see a higher ratio of physically attractive women in European populations. Mix eugenics with mixing with other european ethnicities = most europeans you see today
other places like India had its own version of eugenics, but it looked different.Instead of filtering through looks, it was filtered through caste and arranged marriage. The system wasn't based on raw attraction it was about social order, family honor, and religion. That means even if someone wasn't considered physically attractive, they still had a chance to marry and have kids, because the family chose, not the individual.
So yes, eugenics was there. But it was light eugenics. It wasn't obsessed with beauty or performance the way the West became later on.Now fast forward to today.
The West is doing eugenics again but this time it's not a government policy. It's happening through dating culture.
Apps like Tinder, social media filters, body standards they all make people filter harder than ever. Now only the top 10 to 20 percent of men are getting most of the attention. And average or below average men are getting ignored completely ( this should be common sense by now) basically women are now playing the eugenics game and filtering out men
But here's the twist
a lot of average women are still reproducing, especially if they have decent looks and basic financial stability. The real losers in the system are average men and elite women. One gets ignored. The other can't find anyone "above them."So reproduction is happening mostly between elite men and mid tier women.The rest will soon be checking out. Childless.Alone.Now here's where it gets deep.
This entire dynamic is driven by hyper individualism. Everyone's chasing their personal truth. No one wants to sacrifice Everyone thinks they/re special. And when everyone thinks they're elite, no one builds the foundation that holds society together.
So what do we get! A culture where: No one settles No one reproduces And no one's connected anymore That's why birth rates are collapsing across the West. It's a self inflicted collapse through social and sexual selection.
