What's the forum's opinion on eugenics, when i say that i mean:
-In general
-Treating diseases the kid would have
-Reducing the risk of the kid getting a disease in their lifetime
-Making the child smarter
-Modifying looks and which genes they take from which parent.

Seems ideal if there are zero side effects. I'm pretty sure rich people started to using it to get zero diseases and live longer.

Your view also aligns with most people's view. Also you can't really affect iq alot, only barely, and same with looks, only barely, and either way if average IQ were to be 110, and HMTN would be the average, people who were destined to be 120 IQ without it, would probably also get the increase, and same with looks.
It's basically like a tiny upgrade.
I feel like most people hear eugenics and immediately associate it with Nazis

depends on what genes are being like eliminated and shieeeeeeet

usually as far as i know, they can choose the eye color of the child if the parents have different eye colors, and same goes for hair, although it seems racially motivated, it's by far the easiest to modify if you think about it

unsure about increasing intelligence because it’s incredibly if not the ‘most’ polygenic attribute of humans, i would have to know how that might affect the rest of our bodies/mental state

against looks because it would eventually lead to every generation looking similar due to beauty standards, but also may lead to people becoming desensitised to attractiveness so to speak

Yeah i feel like a good amount of people will seek people with a nord pheno not for love or just because of attraction but to choose blonde hair and blue eyes for their kids and have it guaranteed
