Serious European Colonialism has not died yet

Obvious example being Israel and Palestine

But tbh in a way the whole world was forced into European standards of life and when some countries couldn’t maintain in like India they became this wasteland of pollution and trash

And whenever a British guy travels to India they mention all the buildings they left behind and how Indians have ruined them

The mindset is still there in a way it’s to assume that the European way is the best way yet the only countries able to maintain this European way of life and turn out successful are the ones who remained mostly ethnic European, such as all the British colonies us, Australia, Canada… etc

In a way it is fancy but at the same time the European obsession with advancements did cause a bunch of problems such as now a bunch of countries having the power to end the world with the press of a button

Only reason I don’t think it’s a race thing is cause the north East Asians managed to adapt pretty well into what the Europeans left them and in some ways nowadays even surpass them

I was also gonna say the saudis but realistically their wealth doesn’t come from work it’s more of luck they are on a gold pot of oil money and can pay ppl to make their country better

I sort of disagree. Africans have resources. I think it’s mainly because Saudi Arabia was never colonized so they had time
