when you say genetically gifted, do you mean only athletic, tall, and attractive people should reproduce? or do you mean nobody with disabilities should be able to? i think some women may think that but its certainly not the majority. same with men. that also makes me wonder how that explains all of the fathers/husbands who have children but are unattractive

i see what you mean much better now. i do personally think that most people will naturally try to pursue who they find the most attractive if given the chance (in the context if you were at a social event or something). i do know that women have the upper hand on this with more sexual options. however i dont really agree with the idea that every ugly or unattractive person in a relationship is just because the other settled looks wise, but attraction matters so heavily. i think that specific part about 'settling' and attraction is quite complex though
