i think some ppl actually think they're taller than they are though (very small minority)
my friend who is 2 inches shorter than me genuinely thinks we're the same height even though i can see the top of his head. i think it's bc it's hard to estimate height when you're facing someone else and you're similar heights. his dad tells him he's 6'0 so i think that's why. i think his dad just says that bc he's so much shorter than my friend that he assumed he must be 6'0+
