hi guys ik im unknown in this forum, but i posted last year asking about how to get taller. i have scoliosis, and someone had suggested surgery, so i followed their advice and did the spinal fusion purely for aesthetics as i didnt have pain. in my last post, i mentioned how i got made fun of for being short (154cm), but now that im taller (163cm), the girls who used to judge my height were complimenting me on how tall i got, and the guys left me alone instead of tapping the top of my head. during recovery, i also lost quite a bit of weight. i wasnt necessarily chubby, but i definitely wasnt skinny prior to the surgery, and my friends would always comment about it. the first thing my friend said to me when i came back was "you look skinnier" which was probably the best back-handed compliment ive received. my face is still chopped so i havent had fully better treatment from everybody, but its still nice.

thank you to those who said height doesnt matter for girls but i think this experience kinda debunked that
