experiences with Brazilian keratin treatment on curly hair

I have 3c hair I love my curls but it's annoying to maintain and I feel like it makes my face look big . I usually straighten my hair so I though about doing a brazillian blowout to have straight hair for a while . Dose it ever go back to the original curl pattern ? dose it dammage the hair a lot ?

I did this a few times and it was cool, eventually it grows out and ur hair goes back to normal tho after like 6 months

I think an user called holalola/meerkat (who've deleted now i think) had a keratin treatment to make them straight, and it fucked up her hair if i remember correctly.

It does go back to original hair (like a male perm) and i think it damages the hair a lot too
