There is always potential for being send to multiple peple or bigger servers or worse , thats why people are concerned about that. Everyone says this like the mod team is some monolith. I don't control the moderation behavior that happened prior to me. Why would I? I don't care. I don't even know what you're referring to.

I think most of the moderation that was done previously was based off of vibes only and it was done because people had friends. It was biased. I don't care about how things were handled prior to me.

With that being said, Discord can be used to punish others. I'm not saying that because it happens on Discord, it means nothing should happen. I'm just saying there's a differences between doing something privately with the intent of it staying private among friends, and an intent to do something privately with the intent of it eventually going public; anyone who's spoken to me about their bans understands why I have banned them - because I took the time to explain it to them. Anyone prior to that, I don't know.
