I’ve been looking into different ways people try to change the eye area and wanted to hear what people here have actually found.

For eye pulling, is there any evidence or experience of it causing a lasting change, or is any change mainly temporary from stretching/swelling? I’ve also seen people use eyelid tape for long periods of time. Does that actually have any lasting effect on eyelid position or crease formation, or does everything return to normal after stopping?

I’ve also seen people talk about more permanent eyelid modification/cutting methods. I’m not asking for instructions on doing anything yourself, but more whether these methods actually produce noticeable changes and what the realistic risks/results are.

If anyone has researched this deeply, I’d be interested in:

  • long-term vs temporary effects
  • whether repeated pulling/taping can actually remodel tissue
  • changes to upper/lower eyelid position or crease
  • experiences after stopping
  • medical research or anatomical explanations
  • whether any of the claims in looksmaxxing communities are actually supported by evidence
Mainly looking for actual experiences, research, or uncommon information rather than the usual “it doesn’t work” answers.

tbh eye pulling only works if ur muscles are weak, and even then it'll take a while to see improvement. this alone wont fix ur eye area but you might see a small difference in ur eye shape. tape is cope and doesn't work, so don't damage ur skin for that.
if ur eye area is really that horrible, you should save money and try to get surgery.
