DYE If you are blonde or have lighter eyelashes, I would dye them as dark as possible. This is not necessary if you are willing to use daily cosmetics. Do this with an actual eyelash dyeing kit, not just with legitimate hair dye. I don't have any personal suggestions for dyeing kits—I have never needed or encountered one.
GROWTH People often suggest rosemary oil for eyelashes, just because it's used in a lot of supplements and oils for hair or hairline growth. However, there is a distinct difference between castor oil and rosemary oil. Castor oil has an acid called ricinoleic acid. It's a moisturizing stimulant and increases growth in about 4-5 weeks. Which is a good frame of time. There are good serums out there that contain this acid (castor oil), and I suggest using a serum rather than just castor oil for quicker results. However, BEWARE I have seen many complaints (itching, redness of eye, extreme puffiness) AND good reviews of the product I personally use. I have seen great results for myself, but if this is your first time buying an eyelash serum, I would keep it simple and go with a cheaper option, or maybe just get a small tester of the product I suggest. (Even though the smaller version is still like 25 dollars lol.) This product is Grande Lash MD Enhancing Serum.
COSMETICS Eyelash curlers and mascara can be a bit tricky at first. Mascara can easily be runny, flaky, and or smudge. I personally use Lash Paradise after I use Dior lash primer. I highly recommend Dior's lash primer, and it's the only primer I use and have used, so I have no other suggestions for primer. Primer is not very commonly used or necessary; I just find it to work for me. A good, subtle mascara would be Maybelline's Great Lash Clear mascara. I have personal experience with the product and used to use it frequently, very nice and subtle. Linking good eyelash curlers and products suggested below.
