I wanted to know that if inverted images really show the actual facial asymmetry and that's how other people perceive our face or it's just image distortion.

Depends how far you are from your camera

Back camera + put your camera as away as possible would be the most realistic

It doesn't matter, it looks weird because you're used to the way you see your face. If its not some huge stuff like idk one eye lower than the other, don't worry.
