20yrs old, i grow hair everywhere on my face but its very patchy, it just looks like shit. and it doenst grow fast enough to where i can get away with growing it out. i always hear of like derma rollers and shit but sounds like cope. what actually works?

Combine it with minoxidil. My maternal uncle uses it for his hairline, good progress.

Minox+Dermaroll. If that doesn't work and you really still want facial hair, then consider finasteride. We have no idea if Fin actually works on facial hair, and if DHT has an important effect on men past puberty according to some studies, but the data is limited.
