Facials fifths outer proportions?

I know about how the icd and pfl should be proportional to one another. Im specifically asking from the outer edge of the eye outwards. I see different charts ending at different places such as the edge of the ear, middle of the ear, and the earlobe. Which one is most ideal and are any of the other ones within acceptable range? Mine ends at the middle of my ear. I usually see it should be edge of the ear.
